About the press

Books about how much people and dogs love each other

BFF Dog Press is a small independent publisher built around one idea: the bond between a person and a dog is one of the truest things there is, and it deserves beautiful books.

Our first series, Everything in Life, I Learned at the Dog Park, is set at a real place — Villa Chanticleer Dog Park in Healdsburg, California — where the same lessons play out every morning, in fur. We make picture books that children want to return to and that grown-ups don't mind reading a hundred times.

The art is painterly and warm: painted and inked in the tradition of Winnie the Pooh and Guess How Much I Love You, rich with detail that rewards repeated looking.
